A New Kind of Family: The Book of Titus
-
True Children
Because the unity and oneness of the family of God doesn't rely upon us, we know that it isn't the measure of our faith that connects us; on the contrary, it's Jesus, the object of our faith. Our emphasis on the unity of biological family has the potential of distorting our view of unity within our eternal family. The New Testament calls us to a radical dismissal of our biological family, and a glorious and beautiful embrace of the reality of our oneness in the body of Jesus Christ.
